Buds!
We actually have a lot of buds. Everything is progressing along so well. We have zinnia and lisianthus buds for days. The dahlias are starting to go too. Cornel Bronze was our first, followed closely by Coseytown Gale and Creamy. Seeing everything get to bud stage is like feeling a jolt of electricity. I grew these things from seeds or tubers, and now they are budding! Nature is magical and this has been such an incredible experience already!
Our ProCut sunflowers are budding out as well along with our Persian Cress. The basil will soon be in flowering stage, smells magnificent, and the celosia is not going to let everyone else shine without it getting in on the action. We have multiple plumes of red and yellow starting to peep too. The flower garden is coming alive and it is hard not to be drawn in by activity.
